PE teacher "hit student hundred of times and sent her obscene pictures asking for sex" says mother

A Buriram mother has gone to a local school to register a complaint with the director about an abusive and manipulative PE teacher.

Armed with text message evidence of Line conversations she claims the PE teacher called "Nerm" not only assaulted her daughter for trivial rule breaking but sent her naked pictures and demanded sex.

The child is in M2 - her age was not revealed but M2 is year 9 in the British system making her a young teenager.

The mother named as Kannaphat, 33, told Sanook that she lived abroad with a foreign husband and had left her daughter in the care of a grandmother. She was in shock on coming back for a visit to find out her daughter had been hit hundreds of times at school.

The teacher also used foul language in class as he assaulted other pupils between 100 and 300 times each. The reason was that they had forgotten books or not covered them.

But worst of all was the lurid sex messages and obscene photos sent to her child through the Line application.

Other parents and relatives backed up her claims - everyone was too scared to do anything for fear of a backlash from the teacher who has been doing this behavior for about a year, reported Sanook.

The director of the school said he was setting up a committee and that justice will prevail to all sides.

Sanook tried to contact the teacher concerned. He said it was not convenient to talk right now.

The school was not named and no mention was made of police involvement.

"and that justice will prevail to all sides." only one side needs justice,

teachers and monks supposed to be pillars of society, and every week

one of the other breaking laws, some very serious ,like murder.

Failure on so many counts , mother, grandmother ,principal, teacher, police, student, friends,

one hopes this mess is sorted and the teacher is stood down, immediately !

and removed if found guilty, to the monkey house.

Weak, useless parents/guardians of children!......

This teacher would be minus 2 important items of manhood, if it were my kids!

Easy for you to say but you were not raised in a system where anybody who is somebody is regarded as a higher being.

As little as 50 years back or so even in Europe a teacher was someone

special.

Hopefully he will be a bit more communicative when he is in the cop shop. Teachers in this country get away with murder and it is really time for the abuse to stop. Long prison sentences for all offenders should start sending out the right message.

Unfortunately there's always more people better at making excuses for doing sfa than those who won't wait for approval or someone else to do something.

Obviously there is a crisis in this country regarding the nation's teachers. But where is the outrage??

True, and:

- Where is the education minister, why no statement to condemn

the behavior of this specific teacher and to indicate what specific

action will be taken against this nasty immoral unethical and

  unprofessional teacher?

- Why are the police not automatically involved when such illegal

  events happen, in terms of:

      - Violence against students (specifically illegal in Thailand), also

      - In terms of sexual harassment of students / underage girls (or

boys)?  (Also highly illegal regardless of age.)

If it were my kid, minus 2 items would be the least of his worries.

There we have another well-meaning but highly useless if it was my child shouter, threatening with death, maiming, whatever.

What about letting justice, flawed or not, do it's work?

In the UK he'd be facing assault charges, possibly aggravated assault causing bodily harm; sexual harassment and grooming charges and be suspended pending investigation and a decision on prosecution. Should he be found guilty, a fine, probable prison sentence and be added to the Sexual Offenses register for a lengthy period. He'd be banned from teaching.

Here, well, the school has formed a committee and the police ain't involved or bothered!

Ever seen the daily number of participants playing "candy crush"? They are simply too occupied with important things.

Agree 100% about the "highly useless if it was my child" shouters.  Thanks tough guys.  Having said that though, letting justice do its work is not a great option in a country where justice is politicized and, at best, a work in progress
