Two teens have been arrested after a stabbing at an apartment building in Muang district of Ubon Ratchathani on Saturday night.

CCTV recorded the attack in Soi Thammawithee Soi 10 that left 23 year old Phadungphon Kongchaiphoom in a serious condition with stab wounds to his back and body.

Two men were taken on a reenactment yesterday. they were named as Phisit Luatthong, 19, and Somchai Khaowiset, 18. Phiset said that the victim called at a mutual friend who called them to say he was there.

There had been trouble before and they went there to sort him out. Somchai said he was only waiting in the car and didn't take part in the assault.

Police are seeking several other youths involved in the assault. They said there was a total of five.

The victim suffered head wounds but police put this down to injuries sustained in the struggle rather than knife wounds.

Charges of assault with a deadly weapon, namely an "Itou" kitchen knife, have been laid.

The two arrested men were taken on a reenactment yesterday that was videoed and reported on by Tnews.
