PvtDick
Does anyone know where to go to get good psychiatric help? A good Thai friend of mine is -- in my layman's opinion -- having a nervous breakdown. I don't know where to go to try to get him some help. Any suggestions?

orchis
Bangkok General Hospital 02 310 3000, Samitivej Hospital Sukumvit soi 19, have psychiatrists as do the other bigger general hospitals, appointments may take a while, there are not enough psychiatrists, so maybe better go to a generalist in a hospital for an acute problem/diagnosis who will refer then. As with so many things the doctors tend to prescribe rather more than less medication.

I appreciate your concerns for a good friend and if you don't want to, you don't have to say who this particular person is.. But I am very curious, just a question, did this person have the intention to buy a British football club? Dutchy

maerim
I don't know where to go to try to get him some help. Any suggestions? Judging from what I can see on the streets and bars everyday I would suggest an off license would be as good a place to start as anywhere.
