webfact
Bangkok woman found dead in Pathum Thani canal By The Nation It’s speculated that a Bangkok woman found drowned in a Pathum Thani canal might have been drunk and accidentally fallen in. A local rescue worker said he’d occasionally helped Achan Khanthapura, 55, after she’d fallen and injured herself while drunk. Pol Capt Suriya Pholchu of Klong Luang police station said the Minburi resident’s body was found floating in a canal opposite Soi Bongkot 3 on Liab Klong Song Road at 9am on Thursday. There was no sign of injury. A forensic specialist from Thammasat Hospital estimated that she’d died eight to 12 hours before the body was found. An autopsy is to be conducted.
