Swiss man gets bashed after turning off noisy bike

Locals can be unpredictable, very volatile & dangerous if provoked full stop ..... seen it happen so often! Knives & guns are common place here ...... it's the wild west. Going about your own business, ignoring other's cultural impoliteness , which may annoy you etc etc goes a long way to avoiding a confrontation & ruining your day if you are a foreigner. Survival mode is key to living a care free existence here when out on the town ...... sadly, locals male or female will "kick offf" without much provocation. It's no use trying to explain your actions in any type of "loss of face" situation .......... once that fuse is lit "get the hell outta there" if you can as the "shit" will always hit the fan ........ it's a guarantee no one will come to your aid. It is what it is here I'm afraid ...... fact.

Only thing we are entitled control over is our own actions.  Maybe next time the Swisser should just walk away from the chicken stall and return when the annoyance has gone.

So people are defending and justifying someone who got violent because someone turned off their motorbike?? This is not only childish but insanity. If the guy wants to get angry and yell at him or curse him out for doing that okay. But there is no justification for getting violent over this and I hope they catch the guy and throw him in jail.

Great video shows the original description of events were not accurate.

The Swiss guy was out of line.

and the Thai guy was even more out of line to assault him.
