Anyone used the Bkk/Pattaya hospital for tooth implants?

Featured Replies

Had a couple of teeth extracted there a few months back, so I am now minus 3 molars top left and two molars bottom right, and have a feeling I might have to lose another. The idea of wearing some kind of dental plate doesn't appeal so I think I'll have to opt for implants, expensive as it's going to be. Wondering if anyone has had implants there and if any particular dental surgeon can be recommended. Appreciate any info. like how long would it take for 5 or 6 implants?

Properly done implants take about 3 months from start to finish, though of course it can vary from case to case.

But why go to BPH for implants (surely the most expensive place in town) when you have a very good and reasonably priced implantologist at Phyathai Sri Racha with whom many board members are very happy? At least go and see her and see what she has to say. The list price there for one normal implant is 45,000B which includes everything except any medicines you may need (plus the usual annoying "hospital fee" of about 400B). Some other places add on the cost of X-rays etc.
For multiple implants there may be a discount. And depending on whether the missing teeth are next to each other or not, you may not need as many implants as you have missing teeth. So it may be cheaper than you expect.

I'm very happy with all mine.

Thanks for the info. I have made an appointment for Bangkok/Pats hospital for a check-up and to x ray my teeth to check for any decay. I will get a price for implants while I'm there and then I've got something to compare it to.
