Mozzie nets

Featured Replies

Living in the sticks and need to buy BIG mozzie nets !!? I’m getting around 5-15 mozzie bites a day I’ve netted doors, windows and between the wall and roof but if I step out to go relax with a Chang outside oh boy!!! Anyone know I’m looking at maybe 6ft wide??

Mozzie spray and a good fan works for me. All doors and windows have screens, spray indoors occasionally if any get inside. TIT, part and parcel of living here I'm afraid.

I've seen big size rolls of netting at Global House. Don't know exact measurements, but think at least 5ft. The guy who did our screens said that they usually prefer not to do big pieces without cross "beams", as most of the netting available is rather thin, and tends to sag after a while without support. Thicker netting is possible, but not as readily available, costs more, and (according to him) requires a heavier frame.

One place we stayed in had an outdoor set up where netting sheets were rolled from the top (sort of like a vertical curtains), then attached to each other with Velcro.

Half a mind to install some sort of outdoor screens, but they do block the view.
