Koh Samui Tailors Any Recommendation

Featured Replies

Hi, has anyone any recommendations for a good tailor for made to measure shirts?

I was there last year and purchased 10, they were ok but I somehow felt

ripped-off with both the workmanship and the prices. Anyone know the going rate for both, cotton and silk shirts along with a recommended shop. I am staying in Chaweng but any recommendation would be welcome, cheers for now.

Hi Balwt

I've been looking around for a suit and shirts in Chewaeng.

I've tried 3 places;

MODA ITALIA

ARMANI INTERNATIONAL SUITS

PETER FASHION

Moda italia, I walked in and then walked out! Didn't like

the mans sell pitch, plus the suits shown in the windows

looked like complete tack.

Armani International suits, nice pleasant place with alot of fabric

on show, gave me alist of different prices depending on quality

for the suit I was after.

Peter fashion, was as good as armani suits, basicaly if you want

a very good suit he said around 6-8000 bht. If you want rubbish, hand over

4000 bht.

Some people say all tailor made suits are crap in Thailand, but

if you shop around, there are some good quality ones at good prices.

Happy shopping! :o

Surawong Tailors in Bkk is the ONLY Place I would recommend.
