December 15, 20178 yr Perhaps he never chased anyone again. If a dog chases you, if you stop quickly, look them in the eyes and shout, they walk away baffled. They don't expect that and it surprises them.My gf backed up your post by saying I should stop my bike suddenly and raise my voice at them , she showed me a couple of times and it does work.Of course on my own is different !!When the dogs coming my way with his teeth showing and growling I tend to go overboard and shout really loudly “ Hey “ or “ No “ ( one time I shouted “ you bas#%€d “ [emoji23] ).This usually has the desired effect and the dog scurries away but due to my excessive volume the locals look out their window and see a solitary farang on a bicycle in the middle of the road screaming at ...............well nobody !!This just helps to strengthen the theory that Thais think all farangs are a weird bunch !!
