Hi!

My 9-18mm MZuiko has developed an error, so I can not use it beyond 14mm(dreaded error message: check status of a lens). Been searching on the Internet, and the only way to get it fixed is sending it to an Olympus servicecenter for repair at a fixed cost. (almost 200 USD). I am wondering if there is some shops in Thailand who would be able to fix this? I'm in Phuket, but if it's a reliable I could ship it.

The lens was bought used in Scandinavia, so I'm not sure Olympus Thailand would repair it anyway...regarding the Olympus rules from some years back.

A pity, because this is one of my most used lenses above water... even  if I use it mostly under 14mm! :-) 

Or should I just forget it and save money for a new one? (would really like the pro lens, but expensive..)
