BREAKING: Incredible footage shows foreigner falling from Suvarnabhumi airport roof

Incredible footage shows the moment a woman falls after dangling from cables at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport.

Security staff at the airport were called after reports that a woman was climbing from the third floor of the airport at around 11am on Wednesday .

The woman who had climbed up onto the structural cables spent two hours climbing and dangling from various cables.

The woman, who was described as ‘foreign’ and aged between 20-30 refused to speak to rescue workers or give any explanation for the reasons behind her dangerous stunt.

While the woman was hanging from the cables rescue workers managed to install a large inflatable bed that would catch her if she were to fall - which is exactly what happened.

Footage from the scene shows the woman lose her grip as she attempts to move from one cable to another, saved by the inflatable bed below.

Workpoint News reported that the woman, who still refused to talk to rescue workers, had tattoos of the 2014 Olympic rings on her wrists, leading some to speculate she was an Olympic gymnast.

Be interesting to see if she actually gets charged with anything, as she was after all,  just hanging around in an airport.

It doesn't sound like a suicide attempt. More like a stunt for whatever weird reasons. I think it would be fair to assess a fine and to make her pay the cost of the rescue workers and then blacklist.

What absolute nonsense, She has already slipped and fallen to a lower cable and is hanging on in a bad position, it is obvious the security man was stepping out to try and help her. he certainly didn't "stamp' in the cable.

She just looks like an idiot.

Make her pay for the rescue, then toss her out of the country. And, don't let her back.

What is with these recent idiots? The butt men and now this...

Go Away! You make us all look bad...

I totally agree but in case she is charged for the rescue and can't pay it, I hope they just toss her out anyway rather than prison.

According to the newspaper that can't be quoted she was found walking on the expressway near Rama IV earlier in the day. They took her to the tourist police at Suvarnabhumi, who tried for 2 hours to speak with her, but she didn't say anything. They describe her as "European looking".

My guess is she was high on something.

There's a Thai saying that applies here-  Without seeing the coffin, tears don't well up in the eyes.

What about having her spayed? Removing her from the gene pool. Hopefully before her reproduction of further flawed descendants. (Darwin awards?)

Full credit to the Thais for doing such a great job - very well prepared. No wonder they lose patience with Fallangs given the lunatics the west keeps throwing at them each day.

Suvarnabhumi "spiderwoman" latest: Police stopped her in middle of the night wandering the expressway

More details have emerged of what led up to the daring escapade of the European woman climbing at the airport yesterday.

It has emerged that at 3am the woman - still unidentified but believed to be European - had been stopped while wandering about the expressway in the Rama IV area.

Highway police couldn't get any sense out of her so decided to take her to the tourist police at the airport.

The tourist police gave her food and water but likewise could not communicate with her at all.

It appears she was let go as she had not committed any crime then at 11 am she started climbing around the 6th floor aircraft viewing area.

Deputy airport director Kitipong Kitikhajorn and his teams swung into action to try to get her to come down but it all failed.

He said it was too dangerous to rush her due to danger to her and airport staff.

He added it was lucky that she had clambered some way down to the fourth floor before she finally fell onto two airbags that had been set up by firemen and airport medics.

She was taken to Samitivej hospital after her fall.

Netizens were glad to see that she was not hurt but many wondered what she was up to and praised the authorities for their swift action.

Some said if she wanted to be famous she had certainly done that.

But others were less happy at all the fuss caused by the foreigner.

Saraj Choomsuwan said: "I'd like to know what punishment she is going to get for that stunt" then added rather sarcastically. ""They gave her food and water...why not a discount coupon for travel all over Thailand?"
