BANGKOK, 14th December 2017 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand has joined with Rajaprasong area businesses to decorate the popular avenue for the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Former Minister of Tourism and Sports Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul chaired the opening of “Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong”, an event organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in collaboration with Magnolia Quality Development Corp and the Rajaprasong Business Association.

The lighting decorations include 3D shows on the theme “Beautiful Bangkok” to be featured in Magnolias Rajadamri Boulevard. It will be the first show of its kind in Thailand ever and is expected to stimulate Christmas travel to the center of Bangkok.

The 3D performance will run until December 31 and takes place 5 times a day with special highlight performances on December 24 and 25. December 31 will see extra performances in anticipation of crowds of citizens turning out for the annual countdown.

Participants are invited to take part in a photo competition with a 100,000 baht prize.
