FLR (M) Extension English Requirement

Featured Replies

Hi,

After completing 30 months in the UK, we're just about to start the process of applying for further extension for LTR.

However, one thing I am struggling to get a definitive answer on, is whether we can still use the original ' Cambridge English Entry Level Certificate for this second application or is a different certificate required?

The Certificate used for the first FLR  is issued by Cambridge English Language Assessment:

Pass in the Key English Test - Council of Europe Level A2  Date of Issue 10/04/2015

I would really appreciate any guidance or your thoughts.

Thanks for that. One thing less to worry about.

Hi ,

Wonder if anyone can please help. I've now completed the online form for the extension to LTR but I am still getting conflicting advice on the English requirement.

Will we need a new A2 certificate for the extension or is the certificate used for the first application still valid?

Sorry to ask again, but am getting a little concerned.

We didn't need the certificate at all for my wife's FLR in September 2016. After a few days she received an email with a reference number that you use on the FLR application so that they can check online that your wife has passed the test. My guess is that it will be the same.
