Governor says sorry to the victim’s family for the Mae Suai checkpoint shooting

 

 

Chiang Rai governor Narongsak Osotthanakorn on Friday (Jan 5) offered an apology to the mother of the car driver who was shot dead near a road checkpoint in Mae Suai district.

 

The governor also assured Mrs Nasor Jayo, mother of dead victim, Mr Sornchai Sathitrakdamrong, that the case would be treated fairly and the victim’s family would be kept abreast with progress of the case.

 

Chiang Rai police arrested Wutthichai Inchan, an assistant village headman, for allegedly firing gunshot that killed Sornchai Sathitrakdamrong on the night of Jan 2.

It is a start. In the old days the governor would have  ignored this event. Let them finish the investigation before peeing on them please.
