Surachet Hakpal - the deputy tourist police commissioner tasked with smashing the call center gangs in Thailand - announced three more arrests yesterday as part of ongoing operations.

Two Thai men and a Taiwanese national were paraded at Bang Khen police station after being arrested for involvement in the fraud for which many are already in custody. Losses to people abroad are believed to be 100 million baht.

Arrested yesterday was Wasitwich Sukbeuangbon, 43, Nattaphong Trairattanayon, 38 and Soo Chao Long, 22.

Wasitwich was employed as a driver and ATM presser and had been active in the Thong Lor, Lat Prao and Samut Prakarn areas. Nattaphong was also getting funds illegally obtained from ATMs for the gang.

The Taiwanese was apprehended at an ATM outside a Family Mart in Samut Prakarn.

They were charged with a variety of offences including theft, fraud and acting under false pretenses.
