Damn near happened to me in Bangkok. Coming from Swampy on the airport link the gates are 'doubles' so no problem entering with my suitcase and me and then exiting. Changing over to the BTS at the end of the line....very different story. Casually pushed my suitcase through and kept walking....WHAM!!......didn't desex me but got  a good laugh from all in close proximity. Didn't learn though....did the exact same thing at Ploenchit getting out of the BTS....with the same hysterics from all and sundry. I couldn't work out why my mate was lifting and sliding his bag along the metal barrier instead of walking through with it.

 

Learned my lesson.....now get a limo or taxi from Swampy to the hotel.
