Commandos in northern Bangkok have arrested a man who kitted out his car to resemble a Crime Suppression Division vehicle.

Thanon Wattanachartwong. 30, said he loved the police and always wanted to be a cop.

He was nabbed in the parking lot of a Huay Kwang condo as he was about to get in his Ford Everest that was complete with authentic stickers and a siren on the roof.

He was dobbed in my suspicious locals who saw him touring around like one of his heroes.

But his Ubon Ratchathani plates were a dead giveaway.

He has initially been charged with having an illegal siren.

Although he denies any other wrong doing, police are asking the public if he has been involved in impersonating an officer - a crime that could see him jailed for up to a year.

Chok Chai 4 commandos carried out the arrest and handed him over to Makkasan cops who did the rest.

i reckon he's been going around fleecing people in it and the easiest way to try to the BiB to not treat him too harshly is to flatter them. i just want to be like you. i love you officer, gush gush

If he has patrolled around his block taking bribes from street vendors, he has brillantly passed stage 1 of the recruitment process screening !
