There is a place called Bobe Market. Strictly clothing and the like.

I can't tell you exactly where it is, but it's off Rama 1 in a multi story building close to the clong. Good luck.

Benny' be aware that some (if not all) of the admin peoples on the forum assume the position of "God" and for the likes of you and me they just don't want to know.

If they take exception to whatever you might write they just go "zip" and you're either deleted or banned for life.

You should be grateful for small mercies in that your comments actually got an airing at all.

:o

And no, I am sorry that I can't help you with any suggestions on a wholesale area.

:D

Hole sale areas in Bangkok are PatPong.Soi Cowboy and of course Nana Plaza.

These are the most well known but you will find smaller hole sale areas all over the place i'm sure.

A Polo has a hole in it, too. Donuts work wonders on the unsuspecting. Much cheaper than the other holes.

Hm, wholesale areas: Chinatown, Chatuchak market, Dunkin Donuts

Bobe Market is located next to the Khlong Phadung Krungkasem canal and offer clothes, more clothes and even more clothes. Behind the canal, all kind of garments are sewn by hundreds of women and some men. Bobe Market is somehow a little unplanned and large in size, so prepare yourself for some walking. If you are looking for a larger consignment of clothes, this is definitely the place. The fabrics and clothes are often sold by weight. You can go here by canal boat, taxi or tuk-tuk.

Other markets

We also recommend Pak Khlong Talat and Sampeng markets. Pak Khlong Talat, is located next to the Chao Praya river. The vegetables and fruits sold here are transported from neighboring parts of Thailand. Sampeng Market in Chinatown is one of Bangkok's center for gold jewelry and gems. If you are not an jewelry or gem expert, give it a good thought before you purchase anything.
