Video: Who or what was mystery figure in the road in Korat?

Widely shared dash cam footage on Facebook showed a driver going along a country road in Korat when what appears to be a man appears in the headlights.

The driver manages to take evasive action avoiding a collision.

It happened on the Chokechai to Khornburi road just before the Don Plai PTT gas station.

Sanook said, unusually, that it was unlikely to be a ghost.

Many posters said it was a real man.

Some thought it was a manikin put there to cause an accident so that thieves could steal.

Everybody said the police should investigate.

The footage was up loaded on the page of Watcharapong Laosupo and was dated as happening on Thursday night.

suicide attempt is my thought, my wife says Phi Tai Hong .

Oh , I wish I had the license plate number of the drivers car,  lottery time is only days away.

Looks like a joke with a cardboard figure. Not much of a joke, but it surely don´t look real.

that’s nothing; i saw a dog lying in the road this morning; had to drive around it as it was asleep..... must share that on FB....

Well all I can say is that the car immediately in front of the video car did not swerve to avoid this "figure"

And where did you see that car? It´s the lights of the upcoming gas station you see.

What do you expect in a country where they send ghost busters to clear the governments house from evil spirits?

No look carefully

If there was a car immediately in front it would be there at the beginning and throughout the video would it not. No car, complete set up, complete rubbish.

Yeah?  So?  It still didn't swerve!  Did it?

the guy standing in the road casts a shadow. Not a ghost, but maybe a wannabe.

All I can deduce from that dashcam is that the bloke needs to buy a better quality dashcam!

Here's a close-up. That shield made the car swerve by itself.
