“”In a bid to enhance safety for tourists, police and administrative officers conducted surprise inspections at several renowned nightclubs in Pattaya on 23rd May” “They carried out inspections at four venues, checking licences, employee records, and IDs of patrons.” Why did they check the ID of patrons if the objective was to make said patrons feel safe? I think I would be totally intimidated if a bunch of police showed up and started checking everybody. If the idea was to look for overstay, fair enough. But that isn’t what the article says they were looking for. -

Can anyone please tell me roughly the taxi fare from the Ruamchitt Hotel in Lower Sukhumvit to Mochit Bus station.
