Traffic is closed between Patong and Karon as police and emergency responders try and clear a nearly-overturned container truck at the bottom of the hill between the Novotel Karon and Centara Beach resort. Police are expecting it to take at least a couple of hours to clear for traffic.

And the bl**dy idiots of so-called drivers (Minibus, Taxi, Tuk-Tuk) did not queue for passing the location, but they passed on the oncoming lane with the obvious result, that nothing was moving when the situation was cleared.

Once again I am sorry you are not allowed to bet on some events in this country. Otherwise I would have put a serious amount on the fact, that the genius of a driver did not manage to change to the correct gear for the hill, then he panicked and forgot to just hit the brakes to stop his (probably) not road-worthy disaster on wheels from rolling back on the incline.
