Thaksin put a lot of faith in fortune tellers, especially one of Japanese descent who lived in Chiang Mai.

I guess we are all waiting for the classical head of a horse to be found one morning under the blanket. Then there is at least a clear sign that the soothsayers ans the metaphysicals is rising up as members of a powerful group.

It might be bulls...h...i..t but he has (should have) the right to say it. There never will be democratic rights as long as a junta is in power or pulling the strings.

They should pay the astrologer a couple hundred BAHT to change his prediction to something a bit less doomie. Or just hire a government appointed astrologer to tell everyone that all is good.

You could probably bet your house on it, all Thais are superstitious, most every race on earth has some form of superstition.
