Good language school outside Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was thinking of doing an intensive language course over a month or 6 weeks starting some time in May. I've found some reviews of Bangkok language schools on here / linked to on here, but is there anywhere good in a smaller city / large town like Hua Hin, Chiang Mai or Udon?

TIA

If Koh Samui counts as a small city / large town then I suggest you check out Mind Your Language.  It is very friendly and the teachers are some of the best I have come across.  The approach is focused very much towards conversation in the normal Thai you will hear everyday on the street rather than the formal Thai or reading focus of many schools.  They regularly run a 2 week intensive course and have classes to follow up after that.

What’s the opinion on the Lanta international language school? They advertise their intensive Thai courses from beginners to advanced.
