I dont know if anyone else has noticed but about 19.00 every evening the valets at bed supper club use cones to reserve half the parking spaces in Sukhumvit Soi 11.

This has started to irritate me as it leaves no spaces for anyone else. Im pretty sure that bed supper club has no legal right to do this seeing it is a public street.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything that can be done?

Only thing to do would be to pay more 'Street Tax' then Bed does.

They pay out montly to the local tax man for use of the spots just like every bar owner that puts up tables and seats on the sidewalk in front of there places.

It's illegal BUT "TIT"

No different than places that put stools and other things out to discourage you from parking in front of their businesses.

I've had more than a few rather heated discussions with these people. Many of them are nasty ba&*^rds so be aware that if you do park in "their exclusion zone" you are likely to find your car with nice scratch marks when you return.
