Many children grow up with Peppa Pip the cartoon character but a post on Facebook shows that it is not just pigs who enjoy "splashing about in muddy puddles".

The post on the page of Leanne Wallace from the Elephantstay Camp in Ayutthaya showed a baby elephant running up and down near its sheltering mother after the rains.

Netizens who shared the clip were all in agreement that it was "na rak maak maak" (very cute indeed).

Thai Rath reported that Ayutthaya resident Leanne is the Program Operations Officer at the camp.

Her Facebook page - full of stories about elephants - says that she was formerly the primate keeper at Colchester Zoo in the UK and hails from Bristol.

the elephant seem to be as easily amused & stimulated as

your typical songkran sect member

I wish these videos were posted to YouTube so they could be more properly shared.
