Daily News and stories email stopped ...

Featured Replies

About 5 days ago (?) I noticed there was no AM Thai Visa email in my inbox.

I didn't take too much notice at the time and expected to see the PM one later on.

Nothing that day, and nothing since. I have not (I believe) changed any settings.

Has there been a change to the daily email notification that I may have missed?

In line with the above, I also no longer receive email notifications of Topics I am following.

They will still be displayed under the "bell" notifications icon when I open Thai Visa.

That has been going on for quite some time, and not recently as the no news email notification.

Any ideas?

Did you check your spam and trash folders for them?

Yes Joe.

Yahoo mail displays anything in those folders.

Also have done many "physical" checks to make sure.

Still no daily email notifications as of PM today.

Is it possible that you accidentally reported a Thaivisa newsletter as spam?

Whatever may be the cause of the discontinuation of the newsletter, the radical remedy is to subscribe again with a different email address.

I think I may have stumbled on the cause of my problem.

Last week I deleted my anti-virus program and changed to Avast.

There is a "Mail Shield" in Avast that may have been blocking some emails.

I have added an exception for Thai Visa and will see what comes through today.

Hi

If you send me a PM with your email address, I will  check the status of newsletter subscription.

Looks like my email address is already registered Jonathan.

The exception I added to Avast mail shield seems to have made no difference either, as still no email notifications.

Not quite sure what to do now

Your email address has already been registered for receipt of newsletter.

Just the same, please send Jonathan a PM with the email address at which you used to receive the daily newsletters. Without it, he cannot investigate what has gone wrong.

Well no newsletter emails to date.

I will do as Maestro has suggested and see what happens.

Problem sorted, in a fashion.

New email address used and resubscribed. Newsletters now coming in.

Still has me wondering what caused the initial problem though.

Thanks guys
