Is anybody else experiencing  a sudden lack of Garbage Collection in Pattaya, we have always had an excellent service but suddenly it has stopped and is piling up!

Same Same in Naklua. I heard the garbage collection contract was up for renewal in January. Don't know what happened next but the collection is now very sporadic!

Same here in Khao Talo, should be 2 times per week by municipality (government), now irregularly

maybe once per 2 weeks, always new excuses...

The town council hasn't got a new contractor yet, as far as I know, so it will be awhile yet.

Pattaya wants to portray itself as a Fun city for all the family and it can't organize Garbage Collection.

Please (all that can) Complain to City Hall it MIGHT "Jar" them into action but doubtful.

Maybe a report to the European papers might help the City council expedite fixing these  issues.

Yes. Yesterday near Central world on the Baht bus was disgusting and rotting garbage piled up around the bins!

I asked City hall info what was going on, Not enough trucks on the new contract.

Please call 1337 and dial 9 for English if you want to complain, the more who call the better.

Seems ironic to me the army is in charge of government here and yet they can allow things to get so bad. Get a few platoons on the job

Its piled up all along Jomtien beach road too.

Did that City Hall Line account for reporting problems ever get going ? anybody used it?

 

It was widely reported as being active around the end of last year, but I can't find it .................

I reported the problem on the City Hall No. 1337 ...

What they do with the reports  is another matter.   T.I.T.

Seems there are plenty of scum in the local prisons that could be put to work as well.

Naklua soi 16 is in a sad state, just follow the smell to locate the soi. They dump all the garbage there.
