Thailand raises retirement age to 65 for all sectors
If people want to work (past retirement) then good for them...but they should not be forced to by some government changing the rules midstream/moving the goalposts ... there seems to be plenty of money to spend on war but not enough for the pension pot that people have paid into for years working hard expecting to be able to put their feet up in later years to enjoy "other pursuits" or just laze about doing sod all...instead they face a miserable existence of high energy costs,taxes,taxes,taxes, high food costs,taxes on inheritance they might want to pass on to children etc etc. -

That’s exactly what I did , and even the Thai end immigration were real nasty with some of the young backpackers trying to get in but they didn’t help themselves by answering back, whilst I was all smiles whilst being treated like a piece of 💩. But I been here long enough to know what Thais in authority esp immigration officers are like -
