The chief of Bangkok's police announced the arrest of two fourth year university students who were selling ganja laced brownies online.

The Facebook advertisement promised: "If you have one you'll want two! They will take you as high as the ceiling, like floating on air!"

This wording piqued the interest of the cops who set up a sting in Ngam Wong Wan Road Soi 52 on Saturday when 6,000 baht was arranged to buy ten cookies and a 400 gram block of compressed ganja.

Following the sale Jiraphat and Nattaphat, both 23, were taken into custody said Pol Lt Gen Charnthep Sisawech.

The young men are at separate universities, one government one private.

Sanook said they are the sons of a famous millionaire businessman. Their parents are apparently distraught at the arrest.

The surname or surnames of the suspects were not announced.

Sanook said in their headline that such drug activity constituted a danger to society.

First reaction of the dealers would probably have been: do you know who our father is?

If I were in their shoes I would add: and by the way officer, he is the one who inherited a luxury watch collection of 200 to 300 pieces from his father.

OK- next case, now bring in the farrang who was caught vaping!

Got to be "The Proud Father Award 2018" for theese two sons.

Just another young man there think he can do want he wants I hope he get jail time and not just can't pay his freedom

The cops set up a sting ... and then realised their mistake!

Rich daddy, kids too hiso to prosecute. Anonymity guaranteed. Brown envelope and a wai.

I'm no lawyer but I think it has to do something to do with being related to a millionaire.
