Thought I should post just to say what a good reponse I got from a query on britbaby.com I was looking for some larger toys like ride-ons, activity tables and the like and decided to email to see if they had any plans to stock them. The owner called me back (I believe from the UK) within the hour and told me that she already had larger items in stock they just weren't on the website yet. She is going to email me some pictures so that the Grandparents back home can get our daughter toys that are harder to ship from the UK.

It was just great to get such friendly prompt service and nice to talk to someone who has a little-one too so can give good advice about what would be appropriate. After having a long conversation I forgot to ask her name though!

Incidentally while I'm talking about good service, my brother tried to order our daughter a Baby Einstein DVD from Amazon, after it didn't arrive the first time, they resent it - unfortunately it didn't arrive that time either, but they actually resent it a third time to his UK address so he could fwd it on to us or bring it out. Great service from Amazon.com, but the postal service (one end or the other) let them down.
