Uk agency landing card still in use?

Featured Replies

Yes they do, my wife arrived in the UK 2 weeks ago, she travelled alone, so I downloaded a sample and filled it in for her, so she copied it when issued with an original on the aircraft.

Now our OP has his answer, a little anecdote.

Our first trip to the UK was by channel ferry (I met Wifey in Italy of all places).

Reading the blurb I discovered that she needed a landing card and I should ask the crew for one.

Luckily I asked early on, because about 15 minutes before we docked one was finally found, complete with a crayon drawing of somebodies cat (or maybe it was a dog, or a dragon) on the front. Evidently the last one on board.

The chap at Dover had a beaming grin when he stamped my (then girlfriend) into the UK.

Do Thai's still have to fill in the form on the plane to the UK?.

Not if they have a residence permit or if they are a family member of an EEA national unless it's the first time they have entered the UK.

There was talk of it being phased out.

They have been phased out in some airports already but not all.

That's not strictly correct, the cards have only been phased out at some airports and train stations for those who've joined the Registered Travellers scheme.

Fair enough.

I did ask one of the Border Force Officers on our last visit in December about the previous announcement that they were going to be phased out, but he had no idea when they were going to be abolished.

In the meantime:

Hi, do you still have another copy of the UK Landing Card? I tried opening the file you attached and it said "The page you are trying to access is not available for your account."

Please provide another PDF file for the UK Landing Card... I need it. I know it was phased out but I really need it.

Works perfectly well on my devices, this is your first post, I don't think you can download after only one post, I'll send it by PM and see if that works,
