Given by the number of Thais that want to go live in the west, I doubt they "detest" my culture.

I am being provocative (for which I apologize)and merely putting forward a non Eurocentric view of the world-tho' it is not for nothing that the British historian Mark Maslower  titled his work on 20th Century Europe 'The Dark Continent'
