Recommended Posts

Hello

Im trying to find a engine shop that can balance my engine rotating assembly.

I have bought some rods and pistons from a American company and in need of balancing the Crank with the new connecting rods/pistons.

Im in Hua Hin, a shop in Bangkok would be fine. The pistons and rods are substantially lighter than OEM, hence why I would get it balanced.

Its internally balanced, but I am ok with externally doing just the crank and rods/slugs.

If I was looking, I would bring a Thai speaker to Drag Avenue.

Find the most heavily modified car/truck and ask them.

If they trust the shop to build their race motors, you should be good to go.

Also give you entrance to many other services i.e ECU tuning, aftermarket parts, chassis dyno, ...

This place may be worth trying,

HKS could probably point you in the right direction,

www.hksthailand.com

But some of the Thai tuning/modifying magazines, loads of ads for modifiers in there who, if they don't do it, could get it done.

Thanks gents

id like to get to the track soon and yes its good for finding the right companies.

I had HKS in my favorites already,, NRB shop looks like it would be worth checking out.

As for the ECM and dyno, I do my own tuning and have a fairly local dyno to play on.
