Chatuchak market to Don Mueang airport

Featured Replies

sorry if this topic has been posted before.  What are my options for going from the metro/bts stop at Chatuchak market to Don Mueang airport?

Public bus, taxi or motorcycle. The DMK airport is not on any BTS/MRT line as yet.

thanks.  If anyone has any experiences taking the bus on that route, let me know if it will be a hassle.

my flight leaves at 9:30am

Take a taxi, much more relaxed and costs somewhere in the range of 100THB

If you had read sspacer's last post, I would guess he has already caught his flight.

He didn't specify if today or tomorrow or next month.

Or even next year .

As he hasn't responded since 16 hrs ago, I would have thought it to be this morning.

Taxis are also my preferred choice.

A1 bus from Mo Chit to Don Mueang, 30 baht.

Stop is on the west side of the platform down on the road.  Very frequent

My flight does not leave until June.   I am just trying to get some info beforehand.  I am going to Phuket and I bought my ticket yesterday.  It was just $41 and I did not know if it would go up in price.  thanks for all the helpful info.  It will make the trip a lot easier.

As Argus Taft said bus is easy. You can catch MRT to Chatachuk Park and the stop is on the road under the overpass. I think it is called the AA bus but is pretty noticeable because there are usually lots of farung waiting. A quick trip is about 15 minutes but I'd leave 40 in case of traffic. If you catch BTS to Mo Chit cross the overpass to get to the stop.

thanks.  I will probably go a few days before to check things out and maybe take a trial run.

Airport bus A1. Costs 30 baht, goes on the expressway. Takes about 30 minutes.
