Hi Phuketers.

Just spotted a parade of some sorts, lots of ladies in traditional baba dress perhaps, walking East up Thalang Road

Does anyone know whats on tonight or what its about?  Got some guests in town and we'd like to tell them the story behind it

I was told it's to celebrate 233 years of the province of Phuket, an Anniversary I guess.

It's on for 3 days.

Shame it's pouring here in Kathu, although that doesn't mean it's raining in town.

They were setting stalls up in town all day, looked like a big event.
