Don't know why you thought the io was in the wrong (she wasn't) You were obtaining a new visa. Namely Non O retirement and for that you need to show funds came from abroad. Note for ongoing 12 month extension the funds do not need to be shown to come from abroad using money in bank method. Yes but understand you are converting nothing. You killed off your Non O-A and from visa exempt entry obtained a Non O. Nothing to do with your previous Non O-A. -

The 39-year-old, identified only as Chia, was apprehended after an international investigation involving Thai and Singaporean cybercrime units. Chia faces charges of unauthorized computer access, attempted extortion, and illegal entry into Thailand. His capture followed a company’s alert about leaked customer data on social media, which led investigators to connect him to over 70 cyberattacks since 2020. These breaches targeted top corporations and government agencies worldwide, where Chia allegedly extorted ransoms and sold stolen data. The arrest on February 26 revealed evidence from laptops, mobiles, and dark web ads at Chia's Bangkok residence. Additionally, luxury cars and designer handbags worth over 10 million baht were confiscated, highlighting his lavish lifestyle funded by cybercrimes. Cybersecurity firm Group-IB linked 20 attacks in Thailand and 50 others globally to Chia's operations. Currently in Thai custody, authorities from both nations will continue probing his cyber exploits. I think that those intending to ride motorbikes should be instructed to not wear flip-flops, either There is proper attire (safety gear) that might be advisable. Never ride in Thailand, is the advice I always follow...NEVER... This is just a matter of proper education, which will take time, as more and more people adhere to best safety practices. -
