Cashier stabbed by bar girl as many tourists look on

 

 

Pattaya News reported that startled tourists looked on as a bar girl grabbed a knife and stabbed a cashier this morning.

 

The incident happened at the Sin Club on Soi Bongkot 8 around 11 am. 

 

Pattaya police and Sawang Boriboon medics attended the scene where the assailant - Pikunthong Chaisen, 29 - had fled to the toilets.

 

The cops talked her out then took her in to Pattaya police station.

 

The victim was cashier Kanokkan Deethong-Orn, 41.

 

Pattaya News said that the pair had argued over regulations for staff at the bar. Pikunthong had picked up a broom to attack the cashier but when Kanokkan disarmed her she grabbed a knife and attacked her injuring her arm. 

 

Kanokkan was given first aid at the scene before being taken to Muang Pattaya Hospital. 

 

The news media said Sin Club is a bar for foreign tourists.

As I write, there are three stories covering three days of some boat thingy in Pattaya.  There are NO replies on any day.  This story has already attracted 14 replies.  Pattaya authorities should cash in - scrap boat races and promote cat fights.

I think you will find the general Thai population with just shrug their shoulders.  Happens in just about every town and village in Thailand every day.  Bar Beers are no different to anywhere else.
