Thai Army Denies Mess Tray Overpricing Amid Budget Scrutiny
The Royal Thai Army (RTA) firmly denied allegations from the opposition People’s Party (PP) about overpricing mess trays during the national budget expenditure bill review. The PP claimed the army overspent on 10,000 mess trays, citing excessive budget allocations. Deputy RTA spokesperson Colonel Richa Suksuwanon clarified on September 5 that the trays, funded under the 2024 budget, are made from high-quality SUS 304 food-grade stainless steel, 0.8 millimetres thick, and used extensively. Col. Richa emphasised their durability and frequent usage, noting that each tray costs 520 baht, aligned with discounted rates from top brands like Zebra and Seagull. Countering the opposition, Col. Richa stated that cheaper alternatives, priced at 360 to 380 baht, are made from inferior stainless steel and are unsuitable for long-term use. He reassured that the contracted price was competitive and justified. PP list MP Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn critiqued the army’s expenditures, suggesting a 1.5 million baht reduction in the defence budget. He also questioned the licensing and procurement practices of the firm awarded the contract. The debate underscores ongoing tensions over defence spending, spotlighting the need for transparency and prudent financial management in public expenditures. Ex-MAGA Fans Reveal What Finally Made Them Dump 'Disgusting' Trump In Damning Ads
Thats correct. Millery actually told the pentagon and subordinate staff to disregard any orders concerning nuclear action at one point should Trump issue any orders. He never read any of the daily security briefings as well. He screwed up so much of the govt, which was already messed up enough but most people outside the USA never saw that -

The Death penalty your opinion
I said unfettered state power, not US police or prisons. Your deflection is as ignorant as it is fraudulent. How about your boss Vlad the Murderer? Boko Haram, Hezbollah, Trumps buddies in the Taliban, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Mao, Stalin, Mussolini........ How about Dick Cheney and his Gitmo thugs?- 1

Hunter Biden Felony Fest - the new trial begins:
Expert opinion from Jonathan Turley professor of law: “There was never a serious question of convicting Hunter of these crimes, just a will of the Justice Department to secure them. Special Counsel David Weiss inexplicably allowed serious felonies to expire, refused to bring obvious crimes as an unregistered foreign agent, and sought to cut an embarrassing sweetheart deal with Hunter to avoid any jail time on a couple of minor crimes. The deal then collapsed in open court when a judge balked at a provision that would give Hunter sweeping immunity for any crime”. https://nypost.com/2024/09/05/opinion/hunter-biden-ruined-himself-every-step-of-the-way-now-hes-betting-it-all-on-pardon-from-dad/ -

Former MP Sentenced in Corruption Case Tied to Futsal Field
Somying Buabut, a former Pheu Thai MP, has received a three-year and four months prison sentence—suspended for three years—and a 100,000 baht fine for her role in a corruption scandal linked to the construction of a futsal field. The Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Political Office Holders issued the verdict on September 5, as part of case number AM.18/2565. Buabut, along with 11 others, faced charges due to the misallocation of budgetary funds during the 2012 fiscal year meant for the Amnat Charoen province’s educational services. The funds were mishandled during the procurement process for building and equipping the sports field, which ultimately failed to meet standards. Key individuals implicated include Chinapat Bhumrat, former Secretary-General of the Basic Education Commission, and Adul Kongthong, former Director of the Amnat Charoen Primary Educational Service Area Office. Various companies and individuals were found to have manipulated the bidding process to secure government contracts improperly. The sentences ranged from suspended prison terms to hefty fines. Chinapat Bhumrat received a five-year sentence and a 150,000 baht fine, while other defendants, including corporate entities like TVN Technology Co., Ltd. and Sport and Game Co., Ltd., faced substantial penalties. Charges against Adul Kongthong, however, were dismissed. The court's ruling underscored the manipulation of the procurement process, showing a stark breach of trust and mismanagement of public funds intended to benefit community recreation facilities.
