Hi folks,

My Air Asia plane is leaving at 7AM, I need to be there 2 hours in advance ( international flight)

What is best ? Go early or spend the night there ?

Any recommendations is welcome.

It all depends where you are coming from. Taxis are available 24 hours a day and are very cheap in Bangkok. I don't understand why you would want to spend the night at the airport.

at 5am, I can do the journey from Ratchathewi in 20 mins if thats any help

from further away (china town area) it takes me around 35 to 40 minutes at that early hour of the morning. doesnt cost more than 300bht for the ride, so nah I wouldnt spend the night.

given the limited choices (and poor value for the quality of service) at the food outlets there I woudnt wanna spend too much time at the airport!!

Another idea that you may consider is booking the taxi to pick you up. I always do this when going to the airport at early hours. The cost is 20 baht extra to the metered fare. Dial 1681 to make a booking.

I think at that hour there's no way that finding a taxi or traffic would pose a problem...
