Sinet problems

Featured Replies

After all the hassle to get Sinet to do the annual renewal on line, their internet kept dropping.eventually the technicians traced it to a bad connection in my wall box which they blamed on the initial installation-3 years ago.

Worked ok for 24 hours but for the last 24 hours it drops every 5-10 mins. They keep changing isp -easy for them I guess, but seem very reluctant to send out the technician as promised.

Anyone else currently having Sinet problems or is this unique to me??

I have had my problems in the past

Persavear with them

They will find the problem

If its in a Condo anything can happen

If in your house thats a different thing

You are paying for a service

They have to provide it

If you're in a condo, talk with the condo mgt. to see if anyone else in the building is having problems.  Or your neighbors.

Lizard, you are right, persistence is the key.

Naturally they attempt the line of least resistance. Several times!

Sunday they changed router and its cable to wall box and checked those  connections.  Ok for a while then dropping again.

Yesterday bigger team arrived and checked their original cabling right outside my condo room. What a mess! They replaced spaghetti junctions with decent connectors and now it is fine. Or should I say it is fine for now?!

Thanks for the Update

Hope all is fixed this time

I have 3 different connections in my Condo

Been lucky so far

Just the 1 problem after a power blackout for a few hours
