So you’re saying that if a straight man isn’t interested in having sex with a ladyboy that he is “closed minded” but gay men who are only interested in sex with other men (who present as men) are a-ok.

You have to agree, the most important is what they think, and their fantasy who drive them to seek ladyboys? I would guess it is most so called straight men who do it secretly, but also can have gay fantasies, but find it easier. Who really knows what get people off? Additional survey flaws worth noting:

 

1. What does "contemplating" mean? Does it include idle musing about what it would be like to have sex with a lady boy, or someone who has tried to work through in their mind what the sexual appeal of ladyboys is? Probably everyone has had such thoughts. But that's a far cry from the definition "actively considering or planning to have sex with a lady boy," which is kind of what the blog post headline suggests.

 

2. Among those who answered that they had sex with a ladyboy, was there any effort to differentiate between someone who unwittingly had sex with a ladyboy , realized it midway or after the fact, and has no intention of repeating the experience? That's not the same thing as someone who consciously decides to have sex with a ladyboy on a one-off or ongoing basis. Those who suggest that it's impossible to be duped into thinking a ladyboy is female don't know what they are talking about. This is especially true for unsuspecting newcomers unfamiliar with the ladyboy subculture in many bars.

 

I think the OP has done a big disservice to the expat community's reputation by extrapolating the results of a poorly constructed poll to the entire community. I, for one, am offended. I suspect this was done in pursuance of a personal agenda to try and normalize a subculture which - on one level or another -  the OP enjoys exploring. To each his own, but please don't use clumsily constructed polls to try and validate one's own sexual inclinations. That's being a propagandist, not a journalist.

I read here in Thailand that at least 50%of lb,s revert back later on and that the percentage of them that have mental problems is quite high , i cannot remember where the article was but it was written by a Thai

as for wanting sex with one ,i myself cannot understand why,as there is a vast abundance of lovely women ,and if i wanted to play with a penis ,i have one of my own ,
