Would like to get the expert some info from the  (not so cynical opinions) knowledgeable permanent residents who know of, or deal with reputable, reliable companies. Not living in the country , we need a person or a company to look after our rental unit. So far the company we have engaged has done nothing to promote or advertise the place. If you have had a good experience kindly share.  Our unit is in a very new beautiful condo in Pattaya. Many thanks.

Do they have like a manager for the complex at the entry ?

 

A loooong time ago my now wife rented an apartment in the middle of BK for 6 mth (was cheaper for me then hotels )

 

So she was paying the man at the front 

 

When we left we made the place spik & span - Only to be told that they charge for cleaning on exit (obviously didn't know )

All condo buildings of any size will have a manager, but our staff are specifically prohibited from getting involved in rentals as that is not what we pay them for. Of course, being specifically prohibited from doing something doesnt stop them: the lure of easy money is too great.

The "man at the front" most likely pocketed some or all of the rental money and told the owner that it either wasnt rented at all or that it was only rented for a shorter time that it really was. Such scams abound here.

The juristic person/ office is useless. So therefore looking for a company. Anyone has used or have a contract with Pattaya Sunny Rentals? They charge 30% for their services!
