VIDEO: Saudi Arabian man arrested after drunken rampage at Suvarnabhumi

 

 

Police on Tuesday arrested a Saudi Arabian man who was drunk and acting aggressively at Suvarnabhumi airport.

 

Police say Mr. A Shmmary Mohammed N was waiting for a flight to depart Thailand when he began shouting and throwing things at other passengers.

 

A video clip posted to Facebook by Channel 8 News showed Mr Shmmary in custody but continuing to act aggressively.

 

Police said they would detain him until he sobered up.

 

It wasn’t clear if he had been charged with an offence.

and if he had done this in Saudi Arabia he would have been subject to a public lashing...that's why they do it here

Oh I don't think his troubles are going to end in Thailand. He shouldn't rule out the public lashing just yet before he gets home.

Most farangs also have a sense of  superiority or entitlement when they come to Asia/Africa and also exhibit a deep bias towards locals, Africans, Arabs, Indians, Chinese etc....

Wow. This man got drunk and behaved like an ass; what does his being Saudi have to do with it? I would suggest that "disgust for other people" is coming from another quarter here.

A Muslim was sitting next to Paddy on a plane. Paddy ordered a whisky. The stewardess asked the muslim guy if he'd like a drink. He replied in disgust "I'd rather be raped by a dozen <deleted> than let liquor touch my lips!". Paddy handed back the whisky and said, "Me too, I didn't know we had a choice" !!

Exactly, because unless he is a legitimate businessman with permission to visit Thailand he will get an automatic 5 year travel ban as they are not allowed to visit here still. All they need to see is the Thai stamp in the passport.

Many Saudis I knew flew to places like Islamabad or Goa, then flew on to here. 

 

Poor guy. He tarnished the image of Saudi Arabia, Islam and Mohamed during Ramadan. He should apply for asylum on the grounds of "Drunk in Thailand".

I think we are all focussed on the wrong thing here, sure, he is a muslim, he shouldn't drink alcohol, it is the month of Ramadan etc etc etc, the police didn't give him a leathering due to the cameras being there blah blah blah, but can we all just discuss the lady in the grey and does anyone have her number?

Celebrating Ramadan I guess, another fine Muslim!

Since he cannot take back his duty free Black Labels, could he be stocked in the the smooch for 1 year ?

 

Hope he will not be caned after arriving in Jeddah.
