Just bought a black ceramic Tecno+ TNP VT 302 DG electric stove to replace the old MEX stainless steel stove (range, cooktop). It looks great installed, but one edge has a gap of about 1cm from an imperfect cutting between the body of the stove and the granite countertop cutout. I know I can use black silicone to fill and mask it, but that will look cheap. I wonder if there is a way to grind the granite down to enlarge the opposite side to compensate the fit, without cracking the granite, or if there might be a plastic or rubber frame that would fit  the unit which would cover the gap between the granite and the stove body.

Thanks all

The photo is impossible to see anything.  Whatever.  I would definitely NOT try to grind the granite.  Maybe some <color> duct tape to cover the gap?
