I’m trying to look stoic, but I think I’ll take the opportunity of the Last Orders Bell to save my skin and make a bolt for the door...

I think the bouncer does joinery in his spare time.  He seems very proud of his work.

When they asked for last requests, I begged "Please Release Me!", he showed me the door, and I showed him a clean pair of heels.

I certainly remember sitting in a few different pubs when the last song was either  "Danny Boy" or "The Sash" ....It became important to remember the words of both....

believe I woulda said  that Time is on my side...

Re boucers skill set..., the tongue in groove flooring kind ? or flat as a board and easy to nail ?

I was told that Danny Boy originally came from/for the army in WWI.

Doesn't make it true though.
