"Shows" in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Some friends were intending to visit Patpong to see the infamous shows they've heard about but I've advised them to avoid the upstairs bars there as they are an extortionate rip off.

The problem is I don't know where to recommend as I haven't been there for so long (20 years)

Back in the day Pink Panther in Patpong was OK, it had a cover charge which got you a drink, and extra drinks were reasonably priced.

And in NEP, Hollywood was a regular go-go that had hourly performances. But I think that no longer exists?

And there was one (Angelwitch?) in Cowboy that was much tamer.

So I'm looking for recommendations of where they can go for the seedy shows like ping pongs, darts, goldfish, etc.

Thanks

i would avoid patpong.  i don't think it is possible to find a 'show' there.  all rip offs.  i haven't seen many shows in nana either.  i have seen the darts at suzie wong on soi cowboy recently.  i think they do it most nights around 10pm, your friends can stop by there and ask what time they plan to do it that night and then come back.  i haven't heard or seen a ping pong or goldfish presentation in quite some time.  last time was in phuket about 5 yrs ago.  crazy house on soi 23 also does a show most nights about 9 or 10 (again, i think it is darts and body paint).
