Does anyone know about encrypted sim cards?

 

I see a few companies selling these but some sell with a phone and some just sim. The phone apparently needs to be encrypted for the encrypted sim card to be secure.

 

Anyone know about these that can share some expertise?

Would need sim and the service.

probably better just using data and use a service like telegram to call people if your that paranoid about people snooping in on your calls.

Telegram I believe is being prohibited in NA.  I know you need the service I'm just not sure how valid the phones security is if the sim making the calls is encrypted. It's not for me btw.
