Where can I buy wood (lumber) in Doi Saket area?

Featured Replies

I am new to Chiang Mai.  I need to buy some wood (lumber) to make a repair to the house I bought in Doi Saket.

I live on RT 121 near the Promenada Mall.

Thank you!

Hi, I'm not sure there's a shop in and around Doi Saket that sells the sort of wood you need. You could try Global or a Home Pro but again I'm not sure they stock timber. There is however, a store not far from the Central Festival shopping mall intersection called the Suksawat / Suksawad Timber company you could try them.

Regards,

Joe

Suksawad is definitely the place for timber and it's only 15km straight run from Doi Saket. Just turn right on 11 and it's a kilometre or so on your left. Massive selection and no doubt they'll deliver if need be.

There is another Suksawad on the 1014 (Doi Saket to BorSang road). About 1km from Doi Saket village.
