Best way to the Cambodian Embassy

Featured Replies

I have tried doing research on the Internet but can’t find a good source

I am in bang yai station and I can take the sky train , what station can I get off of to get me near the Cambodian embassy or any suggestions please as to how I could get there

thx

Thailand Cultural Center station on the MRT. Take the purple line to Bangsue and catch the MRT from there.

Exit on the east side of Rachada and take a motorcycle or taxi to the Embassy. It's about a 30 minute walk, so you really don't want to do it.

Good advice, except that it's best to exit on the west side of Ratchadaphisik. Taking Exit 3 or 4 (4 is closer) at the Thailand Cultural Center station will have you headed in the right direction toward the embassy. Also, the MRT line has been extended and Bang Sue is no longer the name of the direction you want to go, it's now called Tao Poon. I live 150 meters from the Cambodian Embassy.

The MRT station map will help with your exit options, https://www.bangkokmetro.co.th/map.aspx?Lang=En&Menu=8&Sid=10

The other option you have if you want to bus it and save walking it or a motorbike/taxi fare is to exit at Huay Kwang station, exit 2 https://www.bangkokmetro.co.th/map.aspx?Lang=En&Menu=8&Sid=11, and walk the 100m south to the bus stop in front of Swissotel Hotel.

Then catch the BMTA #36 bus (red, non aircon and not #136) which runs south along Ratchada then aorund to Meng Jai along Pracha Uthit rd and directly past the Cambodian Embassy . (Don't catch the #36 orange aircon bus as that doesn't do this route). It does exactly the same route shown on the map above from CW Tower onwards and take all of 10 mins max.

You can take the reverse journey to end up back at Huay Kwang station.
