Have you considered renting a car at Hat Yai airport and driving yourself?

Just reporting back, enjoyed songhkla very much, bp samila hotel very good, suchinda seafood restaurant very good, enjoyed the quiet, walks along beachfront, will be back, !

The weather is just fine now, some rain, not more than usual, the rainy saison won't start before october here (Khlong Rang, Songkhla).
